PLEASE HELP: iMovie audio sync problem when exporting movie to tape

I have a huge project due Monday, and I finished editing it last night. When I went to export it to tape, it was dropping frames and the audio sync was just a mess.

I don't know what to do.. please, please... someone help and I will be eternally greatful.
