Backstory: I bought a Galaxy S5 and had to transfer my calendar from iCloud into Gmail to get my schedule to show up on the new phone. Since I did this I've been getting these errors when I open my iCal. They're going back to events from years ago and just keep repeating no matter which option I choose.

Can somebody please shed some light on what's going on and how I can stop it so I can continue to use my calendar? Thanks!

If you're not using iCloud as your calendar server any more, go to  menu > System Preferences > iCloud and uncheck Calendar. Then Gmail can sync your calendars for you on all devices.

Sorry. I left out some info. I don't have the galaxy anymore and am trying to just get things back to the way they were.
