I got my 12 Pro on Monday. I noticed when I activated the phone it was struggling to find a signal for a while, which I thought was odd because I know I have great service at my house.
Yesterday, I had to change my voicemail greeting for work purposes to a custom one. Now, when I try to change it back, I get the error message: The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.mobilephone error 1035.)
I've done everything under the sun, on the phone since last night with both T-Mobile and Apple Support. No one can seem to help me. I've reset network settings, tried doing it manually by dialing into my voicemail and it just hangs up on me when I try to set the default greeting. I've even wiped my phone clean entirely, did a factory reset from scratch and got a new SIM card.
Apple thinks its a carrier issue and T-Mobile thinks it's a hardware issue and they keep bouncing me back to each other.
I did notice when I called T-Mobile it said there are some outages in my area - can this affect me being able to change my voicemail greeting at all?
