Hi, I have an iPhone 3Gs on 3.0 (yes i Know old) that I wanted to jailbreak and unlock to the last stable release. I know that 4.1 cannot be unlocked because we have not gotten the Pwnage tool but I was wondering what the last release was I that I could use. The problem is that my iPhone is in recovery mode and can't seem to get out of it.

I downloaded iPhone 3gs 4.0 software version from iClarified and was planning on option clicking restore to that software revision but the problem is that it says that the software build is not compatible with this iphone. I was going to use jailbreakme after that.

Can anyone please help. I need this sorted out in the next two hours. Thanks!
Basically I want to jailbreak/unlock a iPhone 3gs currently on 3.0 in recovery mode to the latest stable release. Thanks!

Anyone have any suggestions? Please, any help would be appreciated.
