please help , iphone 3gs shutdown randomly JUST when use sim card

Hello All ,,, :)

i've just bought an iphone 3gs and it works fine without putting a sim card (GSM ) but when i insert the sim card it works for short time and shutdown automaticly and wont work until i plug it in the pc .... i've did a reset and restore and updated the f.m but it didnt work
the iphone is 16gb factory unlocked

whats the proplem with the sim card ?
