Hello, sorry I'm new to the forums. Ive searched around here but I still cannot find the answer to my problem. I' got my Touch for Christmas and jailbroke it, just for now with the Iphone Apps. Everything was working fine, but today I decided to uninstall the mail function as i had no need for it. It was taking a noticeably long time as the customary (downloading circle?) continued spinning around as if it was doing something. I started getting worried so I opened up Itunes and clicked restore and back up all of my info.

I restarted my Ipod Touch, and now all of my apps are gone like I anticipated, but the circular downloading image continues spinning around and making that strange noice it makes sometimes when you finished downloading something.

It is a continual cycle in where the circle goes though its revolutions it will make a noise and zoom, go through the action of the Ipod turning on (where the apple zooms back and the main menu displays)

I hope this isnt that confusing and I really hope someone can help me, really scared :(

BTW I run firmware 1.1.2.

Edit: Sorry too all, I was able to fix it by going into recovery mode an restoring again. Apologies for this topic and thanks to all who would have helped if I wasnt lucky enuff to fix it myself

Nice forum you guys have here btw :)
