I bought a $20 gift card, entered the code and redeemed it. I'm not sure if I have to do anything else, but $20.00 appeared next to my iTunes account name. So, when I made the account, I chose 'none' as my payment option.

Anyway, I go to my iPod Touch under device, and it says the update is available and I click 'Buy Now'. I go through the license agreement, click agree then the billing information appears. All my information is there, and I click 'Done', but it just goes to the iTunes Store. I've done it two times, and my money is also the same amount. For payment option, I chose 'none' (already selected), because I had the gift card.

Please help.

Well, I'm on hold with Apple, at the moment. I have proof of Apple Support telling me it'd be possible to buy it via an iTunes card... I should get it free, then.
