I have been trying to jail break my iTouch for hours, and I finally thought I got it when this was working.

It went this far until this popped up.

Please help!

If it is the 2G ipod touch yes. But I wouldn't recommend using redsn0w until they release the final full version that doesn't require you to be connected to the computer everytime you reboot the ipod.

I want to jail break it now, but I can't find a legit tutorial/video on how to do it. When will they release this final version?

IF your that impatient go to the windows gui tutorial and it works real good on that one :D

Okay, so I just got done jail breaking it, and everything went smooth. I tried downloading a new skin for it, and it said (reboot).

I pressed the reboot button, and it turned black. It hasn't been doing a thing for the past 10 minutes! Please tell me its not broken............

No..It's not broken. If you spent some time on google, you would find it.
Anwayys, go into DFU mode, and run a boot program.

This is a tethered jailbreak meaning that you have to connect to a computer to run boot commands in terminal (or with a boot program) to make the phone start up.

Even when I plug it into the computer nothing happens. It won;t even open up iTunes. Is there still any hope?

Thank you.
