Please Help (Mail + GrowlMail + Leopard + Stupidity)

So I installed growlmail without first reading up on it (like an idiot) and as most people may know, it has broken mail to the point where it will no longer retrieve emails.

I have followed the instructions here to uninstall it, but the problem has not gone away. Anyone have another solution. I have google searched to no avail.

Ok, so this thread has died, but I wanted to revive it with some more information.

I tried restoring Mail.app and all mail related files in application support from time machine from before GrowlMail was installed but it still did not work. Any more advice?
