please help me before i buy! unlimited data...

i apologize in advance, i checked the search for this, and the thread kind of confused me. with the unlimited plan through the original iphone, do i have to do that (put the sim card and...that's it..i think) before or after i buy the iphone 4, i.e. i buy the iphone 4 now with the 25 dollar plan, and then next week put my micro into old iphone...and done, unlimited 30 dollar plan on iphone 4? again, i'm sorry if i'm being repetitive, please have grace, i'm in a big rush.

i don't think you have to do the sim card trick to get unlimited. if you have the 1st gen iphone now you get a choice to get the unlimited $30 data plan when you buy online through the apple store. that's what i did today.

Well she doesn't have one. Her friend does. So that is why I am wondering if she needs to do her regular sim card before or after she gets the new one
