Hi...
i have posted last night about my iPhone 3g 16GB being "bricked"

actually it turns out it is stuck in recovery loop?

i have tried restoring with iTunes but it gives me an 1015 Error

this phone was jailbroken,

reason it got into this state is because i forgot passcode and entered it 10 times incorrectly

resulted in erasing all device data (which i call now an iBrick)

for the past 12 hours i have been searching forums but no success

i have tried using the tiny umbrella thing

and redsnow but it fails

please help me.... merry christmas

i just sold my Macbook yesterday... seriously FML

so i am under the impression that my device is stuck in recovery mode!?
ti is stuck on the iTunes and USB logo's
i have tried all available software to kick it out of recovery mode
such as

tinyumbrella
iReb
(quickpwn does not want to start on my PC... it crashes on startup..:( )
iBrickr
RecBoot
reDsnow is for 3Gs

after all that my iPhone is still an iBrick

i have tried recover with iTunes but after the restore it stil gives 1015 error

....

anything else i can try?

oh i have also tried holding power button and home button but no success there either....

If your getting the 1015 error when restoring the iPhone make sure that you don't have 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com line in your host file or make sure you had unchecked the Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit in the advanced tab after you quit TinyUmbrella.
