Is it true that AT&T iPhone 4S data speeds have been upgraded to HSPA+? What about Verizon?

I'm currently on AT&T and my iPhone 4 constantly drops calls. Plus I get almost no reception inside most buildings. Verizon customers don't experience any of that. At the same time, I don't make too many calls to want to sacrifice speed.

How much difference in data speeds will there be between AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4S? Is it significant? Is Verizon's 3G similar to dialup?

Thanks in advance for your input. :)

P.S. I'm in NYC.

That pretty much answers your question. Verizon data speeds are not as fast as At&t, but it still does the job.

Kinda hard to say since it's only the tech bloggers who have had a chance for hands on.

But I'd venture to say that if you don't get signal in buildings now, you're not going to with the 4S. Talk to people who have Verizon and see how their experiences stack up.
