okay so i want a 24" inch 1080p monitor, but im not really sure which one to buy, my budget is $200 - $230, i'll be using it to watch movies, play games etc.

i have narrowed it down to these 3 monitors based on my budget (if you can find a better one, then please let me know)

Before you buy a 1920x1080 monitor, make sure the games you plan on playing support that resolution. Many support 1920x1200 (which is a 16:10 ratio rather than 16:9). Both will play 1080p HD.

oh, i was thinking of connecting xbox 360 via hdmi port, will it still be problem?

Also, i would connect my macbook air via vga (or dvi) port.

I don't have a 360, so I can't say for sure - but a 360 is designed for use with a TV, which would have a 16:9 aspect ratio. It should be fine.

PC games often have a 4:3 or 16:10 AR.

I have a samsung syncmaster 2493hm, its 1080p with 5ms response. Its been great for the PS3, and is a great display for a computer.

Any samsung or dell monitors will generally be good
