I am doing a project for my humanities class at school and I need to find this band that my high school physics professor played for us.

I do not remember the title of the songs or the band name, but the interesting thing about the music was that there were four cd's, each played a single track in each song (ie one for the base line, one for the guitar etc) Each cd had to be played by a seperate cd player.

DOES anyone know who this band is and how can I get ahold of their stuff.

THank you for all the help

Maybe you're talking about Zaireeka by The Flaming Lips?

Four CDs, you listen to all four at the same time. CD players don't keep pace with each other, of course, so you get all kinds of wonderful entropy.

And barking dogs.

It's an amazing album that you can get from Amazon here. :)

is one of the tracks just a long high pitched noise? I remember that one. If it is then that is the set, if not it will still do, thanks for all the help!!!
