iPod please help me im desperate!

hey everyone!!! ive been trying for like 3 hours to fix my iPod...its the kind that holds pix and wen i updated it it del ALL my pix...i was sad cuz it was all my idol pix =( anyways ive been trying to get it back on but it keeps saying unexpected error(-48) and i dnt kno what that means?

-if anyone here is good with that stuff i really need help cuz im soo lost without my idol pix =(

Welcome to MacRumors...sorry you haven't received a quicker response. Most of us like a little more detail on what equipment you have, and what exactly is going on with your iPod.

Are you saying your music is syncing ok, and not your pictures?

What kind of computer are you syncing to, and what kind of OS?

You can restore your iPod to factory settings, and it will re-sync everything. I don't have a photo iPod, so I'm not as familiar with the settings on syncing photos.
