Please HELP ME - mail question

I have my own website and the web site company allow me to check my email from online. Its called Cpanel. But my question is I would like to set up my mail programme on the mac to handle all this and check mail. Is there some way I can do this without logging onto Cpanel? Its my domain hosting site. Thank you for the help

Do they "allow" you to check it online, or require you to do so? Talk to the hosting company to see if they offer POP email access and ask them what the settings would be... then just go through the Mail account setup procedure. If they say no, ask about being able to forward your email... then forward to a Gmail account and do POP access with that account.
