Please help me repair my macbook! Im desperate

The back light wire completely came off the cicuit board, housing and all, while replacing the lcd. Kind of ironic, huh? I was thinking maybe i could solder it back on but it doesnt really look possible. Is there anything i can possibly do? Replace the wire (its damaged it self as well, i have no freakin clue how it happened) and solder it back on? Will that work?

Please help me forum, youre my only hope.

There's a lot of information here, including ifixit who have an excellent reputation with all things Mac....If you are handy with a soldering gun then it's doable, but not for the fainthearted....I guess at this point it's probably your best option..either that or take it to Apple.
