Ok i just bought a MBA and i wanted to install my printer. In order to do that i he to install the CD's that came with the computer. My problem is my other computer is a windows xp and when i insert the cd to share it with my MBA the pc doesnt even recognize it as a cd.

can some1 please help me here i need to install this software so i can install my printer.

thank you

Do you need the CD for special functionality or for Drivers? If its just for drivers, I'm sure if OS X doesn't have them, the interwebs does.

If all else fails, are you able to make a copy of the disk from either windows or another Mac as a disk image, then just transfer that to your MBA?

EDIT:Also check your disk for scratches, etc. When I've put mac program disks on my windows computer, it shows up fine and just has a bunch of 'useless' files on it. If Windows can't recognize it, it may be your disk?
