I have searched and was not able to find this at all. What i want is to be able to have two libraries hooked up to two diffrent ipods connected to one cpu.

so basically i want all my music files on one ipod
all my personal cd's on another

but i want to control it all on one mac and not have to use multiple macs.

Please help me.

Thanks

You don't need two libraries to achieve that target. I suggest to work with playlists in iTunes. You can set up iTunes to automatically sync with certain playlists when you connect a certain iPod.

The two-library-way is possible but much less convenient.

There's a lot of information about the use of playlists on the web, e. g. here.
