Please help me with my Iphone 4!!

Hey guys ..

I have a problem with my Iphone 4 can anyone please help me?

I bought my Iphone 4 about 4 months ago .. I downloaded Ping, MSN and other apps .. But push up notificationdoes not seem to work with neither of them!!
- My Iphone is not Jailbreaked
- Its on version 4.2 and the same problem was there before I updated my Iphone
- I dont use Package data and I live in Dubai
- And the thing is that I use it in the house and dont get the push notification thing but when I go out .. In any other place that has a wireless everything in Ping and another apps comes UP ( push notification works!! ) even if it was days ago!!

Can anyone please help me?
Is it with my wireless at home or the router?! or what exactly?!

so you're saying that push notificiation do work in certain situations? they only don't work when you are in the house?

if so, could it be your WIFI network is blocking them?

i agree

different network settings with routers and etc. can interfere with push notifications.

Turn off wifi and use 3G at home.

Try playing with the settings on your router, make sure port 5223 is open for communication since that's the port used by Apple to push notifications.

Other than that try disabling any DNS-relay settings.
