I am trying to override the forced setting of having a complex 8+ digit passcode while having my iPhone setup with Data protection mode enabled. When I go into the Passcode Lock settings, I am faced with a greyed out "simple passcode" and "erase data" setting (not allowing me to change these).

I would like to use a simple 4 digit passcode while being able to access my Exchange 2007 email account.

I am running iOS 5.0.1 (9A405) Jailbroken with Redsn0w untethered.

Thanks to anyone who can help me as I've been ripping my hair out over this issue!!

P.s. I have already been trying to use SSH to access the .plist files and have tried editing the 'ClientTruth.plist' file found in '/var/Mobile/Library/ConfigurationProfiles' to no avail.

Thanks again!
