Hello Everyonebody

Last night i was sitting on my mac and it was working fine but when i turned it on this morning it was all the sudden really really slow...

It works but it's so slow i have to wait 10 mins for it to load the desktop and so on so i can't really use it. I don't know what the problem can be because it was working fine last night? Does anyone have a clue about what I can do to fix this?

Did you try rebooting?
Also, check Activity Monitor to see what's using system resources.

First of all im not too good at using my mac yet so how do i reboot it?

And how do i check the Activity Monitor?

Sounds like a bad drive. Make sure you backup while you can. The first warning is performance is bad before it fails. It is more common with laptops.

There are MANY other possibilities than a bad drive, and no, drive failure isn't common at all.

Helpful Information for Any Mac User

Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities (at least for me).
Me, too, but I know some may have their apps arranged differently. I never can remember where they were on a fresh install, since I've moved so many around. It's in there, somewhere.
