So on my system preferences > system > account on the bottom is has a picture of a lock. Well, I forgot that main password can someone please help me how to reset my password.

I had looked on YouTube but I can’t understand that kid and I don’t to rebot my whole computer like it just came out of the box.

But that means all my files are gone. And when I back them up it goes back to square one.

Thank everyone. I had rebooted my MBP and it's so weird.

One question does any know if you always reboot the MBP it can damage the MBP?

Please let me know thanks again!

What is so weird? Does it work now?

And no, it will not damage your MBP to reboot daily, though it puts a bit more stain onto the HDD due to booting the OS every day (which is a bit strenuous due to reading a file from here and then from there and then from over there and so on).
