please help: My iphone is locked :(

so, i updated my iphone4 to iOS5, and now it's locked..
it says that i have to restore my iphone..
is there any way to get my photos back??

p.s. my iphone isn't jailbroken or anything.. :/

Check your iPhone backups in iTunes' settings. It may have backed up your iPhone before it upgraded, as it should. If there is a recent backup, you can restore your iPhone and restore from that backup and have your pictures back.
