please help new imac g4 wont boot

please help
i got this imac a few weeks ago it bongs then you see the apple logo with no spinning wheel i have no install disks and i think my dvd drive is broken what should i do?

Call Apple and get Replacement Restore CDs for that Mac, there should be an identifier at the bottom of the Mac. You can use them with an external Firewire 400 optical disk drive (ODD).

Have you tried any of these steps?

You didn't even read the link, or can you read all the solutions given by simsaladimbamba in one minute.

Kidding aside, read them first, it might solve the problem.
Nothing is free nowadays, I think there's a hefty price on those disks.

As I said read links before, but try this first, boot the Mac holding the shift key at startup, this will result in a safe boot.
But I doubt it will work.

What does the text say when you enter verbose mode, this is different than above, hold the Command AND V keys right after you pressed the power key, hold it until a black screen appears.

Make a picture of it or write the text here, a picture will probably be better because the chance is high it's quite a bit.

Just a question, why oh why did you choose such a long and confusing User Name, have to think each time I write your name.
