Please Help | Numbers Formula Needed

Hi all!

I am trying to figure out what formula to use for determining a date in the future.

I have this info: Date & number of days to advance

Looking for: What date that equals in the future

Given date + # of days = ? date

Ex: June 19, 2011 + 28 days = ? date

How do I make an formula in numbers that solves the ? date for me?

I think what you want is simple addition.

Maybe what you missed is to make sure the result is formatted as a date, not something else.

If it's from today's date, just use the TODAY function (actually, I think Numbers is smart enough that if you just add to a cell with the TODAY() function you end up with a date anyway, or any other date-formatted cell).
