Im new to safari and i just recently got a macbook pro 13 retina 2015 and while i was viewing some videos on youtube on how to and what not this happened

so some reason the screen for youtube went to the top rather than the default location please help me

The page is just scrolled up a little, scroll it back to see the whole video.

The Youtube search bar now stays still at the top of the page even when the page is scrolled.

Do you mean instead of the left corner of the screen? That's the solid rectangle icon near the bottom right, it switches between "Default view" and "Theater mode".
