Resolved Please help - restored sms.db and all messages gone!

Hello all,

I accidentally deleted a thread of messages tonight and extracted my sms.db from a backup in order to reinstate the lost conversation thread. However, now both bite and messages.app are reporting that no messages are present, even when I try the 'correct' sms.db file. Can anyone shed any light on this? I used iPhone Backup Extractor to extract my sms.db file, in case that makes a difference.

I guess I could restore to a backup, however I obviously do not want to lose my jailbreak.

Okay I have no evidence as to how I fixed it, but I decided to delete everything in var/mobile/library/sms and replacing with what I had in the backup. All ~40,000 messages are back now! Hope this helps others in the future.
