I have an old MBP from 2008 running Snow Leopard and then I upgraded to El Capitan. I had Bootcamp on it too. I wanted to revert to back to default, wipe everything. Long story short, I was able to erase the Bootcamp drive but then the MBP wouldn't boot up. So then I luckily had the Snow Leopard DVD and booted from it. It would not let me install to the Mackintosh HD, only the Bootcamp. I did that and successfully reinstalled SL.

Problem is a can't re partition the drive into one large partition now. Please help. Thank you.
