PLEASE HELP: S/L breaks UMB bluetooth!

After installing bluetooth - and navigating to the "mouse pane" of system prefs - there SHOULD apparently be an option to install bluetooth mouse -

However the screen simply shows a box with a mouse picture, asking me to plug in a usb mouse - no options what so ever

After plugging in a USB mouse the options appear however still no option to set up a bluetooth mouse

i am trying to set up a wireless mighty mouse

PLEASE HELP!
