ok, so last night they were working fine, i put the machine (dual 867) to sleep, and just woke it up to check for any new news here and .....

voila -- no bookmarks whatsoever.

i'm running beta 2 v74 and i've already checked whether or not there was even a bookmarks file present in my library, there is, but that is not doing much.

i don't understand.
help if you can.

thanks

I did at one point have all my bookmarks replaced with different versions of Safari. They were simply put in a different location.

Try Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
and look under each folder in the Collections section.

That's where they ended up with me.

thisw happened to me once. what KingCobra said was my solution. i flipped out when i first sqw the problem, and how little i actually looked:p

thanks, but i tried that.

everything is blank. the only thing that is
in the bookmarks folder side is rendezvous
and the history.

everything else is gone.
i have had this version ever since it was
available in soft.upd. and haven't installed
anything new.

i just don't understand.

i guess i shall try to figure something
out through the apple site.

try going and taking out the bookmarks in your preferences, waiting for new ones to show up by restarting safari, and then replace them. if they aren't back to normal, the it might be in the directiry of th safari bookmarks. if that doesn't help, i don't know what will.
