iPod touch Please help: Touch availability in NYC/Atlanta

Hi!
My friend is over in the states on a business trip so I asked him to buy me an Ipod touch. He went to the Apple store in NYC (I don't know if there is more than one) but they were sold out.

My friend will stay in NYC until tuesday and then fly to Atlanta.
Does anyone know a store in NYC or Atlanta that has touches in stock? I would really appriciate any tips while he hasn't got time to run around to every store and I would like to see him come back with a touch.

8gb or 16gb version doesn't matter (they are both cheaper than the 8gb version in Europe)

according to bestbuy.com's inventory status there are 16gb ipod touches at their atlanta store.

Go to bestbuy.com then search ipod touch, add to cart, then select in store pickup. Form there enter 30302 (atlanta zip code, I used google to find it.)

hopefully they will still be in stock when your friend gets there.

Look at target

The local target store here in charlotte had a few in the case. Look at targets if you can't find it at the apple store.
