Please help: vmware fusion 5 + retina display

I just started using fusion 5 with windows 7 on my rmbp.

There is an option to run w7 in retina resolution. But then all menus are really small. You can increase the menues to 200% but then only system apps like explorer are bigger. Third party apps look tiny...

If I don't run in retina resolution, menues are readable, but text is very pixelated.

Any ideas?
