Last time i tried to bootcamp my computer ( like 2 weeks ago) it crashed and i lost all my data..i want to try again but i think i wan to time machine that **** first..problem is i dont have an external hard drive. Can i back it up on my hard drive, and then if all goes well can i just delete the back up that i put on my hard drive after im done??

If you do a Time Machine backup to the same drive that you're backing up, you have zero data protection. If you have a drive failure of some kind, you'll probably lose the backup along with the original.

So no, that's not recommended.

What good will it do to backup to the same drive that you're backing up? If you lose the data on the drive, you'll also lose the backup. Buy an external drive or backup whatever data you have to DVDs.

Regards.

Waite y cant i partition it??

If the drive fails, all partitions fail (the disk as a whole fails). By backing up to the same drive, you are missing the point of a backup in the first place. External drives are getting pretty cheap, just find one on newegg.
