all of a sudden my iPhone won't let me register to my home wifi. it tells me my password to connect is wrong.

My MBP is working on it fine. My work PC is working on it fine - in fact, when I log in from home on my work laptop I have to enter the wifi pw so I know I am entering the right one.

editing to add: my iPad is working on the wifi at home just fine.

I've followed the troubleshooting advice from apple support on their webpage and have reset my router but the &^% iPhone is still saying "unable to join network XXXXXX"

has anyone else had this issue and were you able to resolve?

I am having exactly the same problem with my iPhone 4. I've had it for months, and it worked fine until last week. My iPad and other computers, and my wife's iPhone 3GS, have no trouble connecting to my Wifi network. The iPhone 4 tells me it can't connect after I enter the password. I've tried resetting the Network settings several times.

I haven't had a chance to get to the Apple Store yet, to have it checked out. I'm interested to hear what happens with yours.

I'm wondering if a complete Restore in iTunes would fix it. I dread doing that, though. I never trust the backups.

Hi. It was weird. Wifi worked in the Apple store and I went back home prepared to do a restore. When I got home though it connected to our network on it's own. Gremlins?

That's weird. Maybe the Apple Genie fixed your iphone when you walked into the store.

Apple Genie :D

Who knows.... maybe the phone was just testing the limits of my patience... I'm just glad it is working!!

Manatee - I'll be curious to hear how it works out for you!
