Please help with mp4tools and burning subtitles into movies

Hi, I have a movie file with the .srt file as well (subtitles file). I added both the movie and the subtitle file to mp4tools and selected hard burn but the subtitles don't get added to the movie file.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Kindly assist. Thanks!

Try changing the file extension from .mp4 to .m4v, that may help if the subtitle track is indeed there. Also, try the asweome free utility Subler to embed stuff into mp4 videos, I have never had any problems with it.

Yeah thanks for the subler tip it seems to work great
