I have a been happy user of iPhone 2G until I left it to be washed with my pants a few weeks ago. I tried all the drying methods, to no avail. I had my iPhone unlocked and was using it on T-mobile. I have been paying $75/month for 2 iphones with unlimited data (EDGE) and 400 texts, after corporate discount. This price is simply too good for me to switch to AT&T, in addition to the superior signal (ya, weird innit) at where i live.
So in order for me to get another iphone, what are my best options?
I can get an used iphone 2G/3G (2G or 3G is irrelevant to me because T-Mobile 3G is not compatible, but I'm happy with EDGE) off craigslist for $200 and up. Or can I get a water-damaged replacement at apple store for $199? What would be my best bet?
