(Please Look) FCE Files

Without going into too much detail can Final Cut Express HD open Final Cut Express 4 files? i can't stress this enough, i neeed to know, really tho, i appreciate any responses.

the newest version of Final cut can open file made by previous versions , but not the other way around, as FCE 4 is the current Ver , i would think FC HD will not be able to open the files made in FCE 4
