OK, If your iPhone has that annoying yellow screen (I even posted a thread here yesterday about it), here's what to do:

  1. Completely drain your battery. I turned on WiFi, stuck in some headphones, and played a movie on full volume, over and over.
  2. Keep pressing the on switch even after your phone has totally died, so you get the red flashing battery icon. This will totally drain the phone.
  3. Plug the iPhone to charge, via the wall socket - not USB.
  4. Your iPhone won't respond at first. After a few minutes, it will restart and you will have the crispest, clearest iPhone screen ever.

It is still 'warmer' than the original iPhone, and so much brighter. However, it is not by any means yellow.

I read this in another thread on MR, and it was confirmed by 3 newbies. Nothing against them, but they're newbies, so people might not try the advice.

I was at the end of my tether and CPW wouldn't replace it. Try this. It's worked perfectly for me.
