Please,NEED help moving icons into home screen

I have been trying for 2 days now,I downloaded some games just as an example to add to the iphone but cant get them to move,it says drag to home screen but still after 2 days cant do it,any ideas please.
They should be highlighted but there not.

PLEASE Driving me nuts.

Ok I'm not sure if I understood what you were asking for but if I did try this. Check the apps you want and do the regular sync. This will put the apps onto your iPhone. Then you have to move them from page to page using the little iPhone thing (or whatever you call it) which is under the text Home Users iPhone (from the picture you provided us above. Don't try to drag from under where it says "Sync Applications", just check the apps you want on your phone.

Have you tried making sure that the "sync applications" button is checked? Sorry if this is overly simple, but it's not checked in your screenshot.
