mbp9,2 has problems and ACPI kext file is broken -actually

it is missing macbookpro9_2.plist from

/System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources

so that one will do as well

This would be specific to whatever version of macOS you're using. You'd be best off to just reinstall.
