I just got a new ipod touch and so i wanted to sync it with itunes. my older ipod didn't have a lot of memory but the new ipod is able to take all the stuff i have on itunes.
at the start it gave me 2 options, something like use this as a new ipod or use it with default settings of old ipod. i selected the default settings thinking it would bring me back to my old library but it didn't! it only brought up the stuff that was synced to the old ipod - half the library is gone!!
Is there any any way that i can fix this?? Any help/suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

Go into the iPod options (inside iTunes) and set it to copy all music. I'm not at home at the moment so I can't give the exact names of what to click.
