Hello i worked as Genius Bar a while back and i would like to help you all with your issues and guide you in the direction you should take.

This is my 2nd bad iPhone 5 replacement and i could imagine your frustration and for those people who have real issues like screen not displaying properly, vibrating issues, etc... Post below

surprisingly i have no problems with my iphone - no scruffs or QC issues. just that the battery drains quickly on standby and i did double press the home button to turn off all the apps - wifi and BT is off.

fully charged at night 100% and then in the morning 7 hours later it's about 70-80% - i have full bars on LTE :(

Actually this is an Acceptable range if push-email is on, location, running apps etc..

Here's my issue;

I don't have it yet! Got to wait till the 26 oct-2 nov. :cool:

Be lucky brother by then Apple will work out the major issues that have been plaguing the iPhone 5

I am experiencing an issue with the silent switch notification displaying on screen an vibrating when I'm already in silent mode. As much as I probably shouldn't, I can press in different locations on the phone and make the phone vibrate and have the notification appear when it is already in silent mode. I can even make it do this while in an Otter Box. This seems to come in waves as well, sometimes it does it sometimes it doesn't. I am a little concerned because it misleads me to think I have a text or email. I can only imagine others are experiencing the same issue. My iPhone 5 is a black 32gb.

i don't have it yet. i'm curious what's wrong with your other ones?

Brightness Level

Sometimes when I press the home button to turn my phone on the lock screen is very dim. I can still input my password but it looks like the brightness level is at 10%. When I press the power button off then on again, the screen brightness corrects itself. Is this something I need to go to the Genius Bar about or will it get fixed with an update?

Other than that my phone is perfect!

Perhaps it would be best to go to those major threads and tell those users what they should do. Hell, even PM them when you see them write about a problem. There are plenty of threads discussing the various issues.
