Hi, everyone

Is there a decent 802.11n wireless router around $50~80? I mainly use it for p2p (bt) downloading and watching video. I'm currently using WRT54GL but it will be painfully slow after some time of consistent bt downloading.

Thanks

Your problem might not be the router, rather your ISP throttling your p2p traffic after a certain time/bandwidth.

I think it's the router because I can't even load a webpage as fast as usual. If it's the isp that throttled my p2p, then the webpage loading should not be so slow

You do realise that unless you limit the connections, your p2p activities can suck all your bandwidth?

what kind of internet service are you getting?
When I had Shaw High Speed (7.5MBPS) with my Airport Extreme it was a lot slower than Xtreme Speed (25MBPS)

getting a router won't do any good if your isp is capping your MBPS.

Yes, I agree with r.j.s and psxguru. Try limiting the upload speed on your P2P app to around 75% of your maximum upstream bandwidth and see if that helps alleviate your problems.
