I, also, recommend the Tucano. I've had mine for almost 3 years and it still looks as it did when I bought it.

It has an internal flap to ensure the computer does not rub against the zipper and ensures a snug fit.

The microfiber exterior feels less 'slippery' than a neoprene case and I can actually remove the computer from my briefcase without pulling out the entire case with it, if I so choose.

I bought a few days ago this : Be-Ez
I love it so far, it has memory foam to prevent (minor) shocks from damaging the laptop, it's stylish and much cheaper than the InCase (and non slippery, you can carry it like a book with no problem).

I have the incase neoprene sleeve and i think its awesome. Its think and very soft on the inside and i think it would provide great protection.

I like my incase "sling sleeve". I don't think they make my exact model anymore (too bad, I like it better than their equivalent now as I like the pockets on mine better) but this is the closest I could find to it:

What I like about it is that it has enough pocket space to carry all the peripherals I need (cords, magic mouse, even my power cord if I don't use the long extension plugin but instead the plug plugin, CDs, batteries for magic mouse) so I can use it as a carrying case in itself (great for just taking the laptop to and from places around town).

But I also can remove the shoulder strap and tuck in the handles and use it as a sleeve so I can put it in my backpack and it's got padding (great for when I'm traveling and packing the laptop up with other stuff).

I have a combination Incase hard shell and Incase soft neoprene case, its very protective. I carry the laptop in my backpack and I don't worry about it at all.
