Please recommend a webcam

Hi

Could you please recommend a (preferably budget) webcam for me for my mac pro. The mac pro doesn't have a built in microphone does it so it would need to have one of those too.

Needs to be compatible with google/gmail video chat.

Well, I can tell you one to avoid; the list I've been going from

shoots down one inexpensive camera I was thinking of (see "LESS THAN GREAT MAC WEB CAMERA CHOICES"). One I did try that was highly rated on that list was the Xbox 360 Live Vision Camera, which I bought and does have a nice picture inside (though no mic), but was ill-suited for pointing out the window, which was my intent. I'm still looking for another choice, probably off the site above.

which lists cameras either working straight out or enabled with the software mentioned there. Some of the Logitechs do not work well with macs, so make sure you get one that does if you go that route.
