Please recommend an external drive

This seems like as good a place as any to ask about external drives. I want a new one. I have one from 20 years ago, but want something bigger/better. Is this a good option? It would be exclusively for photos and videos. Anything I need to know about moving files onto this thing? Best to do so directly from the phone or through a PC or a mac? Does it matter? TIA for any advice.

Thanks for the rec. Do you think the Samsung I posted would be worth the extra $40 bucks? I think it has a slightly better durability (IP65 vs IP55) and a higher drop rating.
