Best apps are those that your bank will have. Have a look within the App Store of your country, see what is rated highly, and then read some recent reviews.
 
You didn't say if you want the app to sync with your bank accounts or not. Or if you are willing to pay a subscription or if you want something easy or something that has more complex budgeting and reporting features.

If want to enter your new transactions manually or import csv (versus an app that connects live to your bank accounts), and only need basic reporting and budgeting, then I am very happy with the features and layout of Account Tracker Pro (developer: Graham Haley), which has no subscription. His subscription version is called Account Tracker and has a one-month free trial.

No need to sync to bank accounts. Didn't know there is such a function.
No subscription please. Ideally free but if the functionalities and GUI are good, I may be willing to pay a little.

I have been told to keep track of my spendings each day so later on, I can get an estimate on how much I spend each month.
