I want to move all my iMovie projects and videos to an external drive so I can free more space. I need a portable drive with at least 320 - 500gb. IT can be Firewire or USB 3.0

I have an iMac 27" i7 (last years model)

what do you recommend?

USB 3.0 won't work with your Mac, as no Mac models support it.

Without a doubt the absolute best portable hard drive out there... not to mention how sleek it is. And yes, it's USB 3.0. It's $69, down from $99

thank you for the suggestions guys. I think I will go with the W.D. Passport, but I need a Firewire one because I'll be accessing all my videos and iMovies content from it, so I need speed.

thank you very much.
