I bought an Intel MacBook when they first came out, about two years ago. It only has two USB slots, no FireWire at all (grrr). Anyways, I now need more USB and/or FireWire slots, so I'm thinking about getting a USB Hub.

Can anyone please recommend a good, cheap Hub for my Macbook 13"?

I just need more slots, USB or otherwise. Obviously FireWire 800 would be better, but I'm not sure that would really do jack in this case, since it would ultimately still have to run through the Book's USB slot, right? Am I just screwed for FireWire at this point, or is there something I can do?

You're screwed for FW, for a variety of reasons, but if you look at best buy, newegg.com, amazon, etc, you can find a number of inexpensive hubs
